Suggestions / Body Alterations

I was wondering if we could, perhaps, have a temple of extreme body alterations, like those done by Orochimaru.
I have something in mind for my character that's specific to what experiments were preformed on him.
Should I simple put it under clan, in spite of the fact that it has nothing to do with lineage? (｡◕‿◕｡)

Name: Yuuryo Nagamori

Bio: Yuuryo is a beautiful boy, who's generally confused for a girl. He's lived most of his life in sound, because he was taken with his mother when she left her small village in times of war. Sadly, she was struck down by a rogue ninja during a mission less than a year after joining Sound. Without his mother's protection, Yuuryo became subject to painful experimentation which left him with horrifying scars from the base of his skull, to the base of his spine. He's kept his hair long to hide the large mass of scar tissue on the back of his neck.
Ever since Yuuryo was experimented on he's had chronic anxiety causing a constantly changing level of fear, self confidence, and occasional panic attacks.
Personality: Cheerful, fluctuating anxiety, kind, generally outgoing, but occasionally hesitant when he's feeling anxious.
Goals: He just wants those around him to be happy, and always smile.

Thank you, that's what I was going for =D
Once I do something more finalized, like a nice forest-scape, I was thinking of putting him in a bright clearing with a dark, foreboding forest behind him. That is, if I ever get around to that.

I think he's more of a sweet boy, in an unfortunate situation. maybe he just happened to have the proper genetics for a certain experiment.
perhaps a genetic trait that yield superior chakra control compared to the average shinobi?
Allowing a subject, such at himself, to be WAY over powered with excessive amount of chakra, not their own, without being over taking by it easily.
Allowing for some implanted source that must be suppressed when not in use. But when in use it allows an increased level of physical strength and jutsu strength. Though, on the down side, it would make the user appear really ugly and vainy, totally not cute! Oh... and it would be cooking them alive, but I think it's more important that it makes them not cute.
Maybe some kind of beastly chakra that can transform the user into an utter monster if they go over a limit (60% perhaps)

here's line work and flat color for the actual picture. what do you think?
I'm thinking some kind of forest background, like something in the leaf village. However. Some kind of dank dark scenery might be best to show the kind of village he's from.
