Akiko sat in front of the Hero's Memorial stone. She hugged her knees and looked up at the bright sunny sky. She was supposed to go meet up with Myuki, but her body didn't seem to want to move quite yet.

A finger tapped her head before a small kiss was placed upon it. A usual hello. He knew she would be here, and sat down next to her. "Thinking bout them again?"

Akiko turned to look at him and smiled softly. "Yes. I just wanted to stop by before I went to see you, but I couldn't bring myself to leave..."  She sighed and hugged her knees tighter.

"Well, I understand. It's okay. I knew you were gonna be late anyway.." He said, making a half smirk as he began to play with her hair.

She laughed at the mention of her usual tardiness. "I had every intention of being on time." She smiled and relaxed, letting her legs stretch out.

"I know dear. You always have intentions in being on time." He said, playfully nudging her. He knew her intentions were good. She just had a bad way of showing it.

"Where are we going? Whatever it is, my treat, okay?" He really didn't like seeing her sad, so whenever he could, he would always try to make her happy. It was the least he could do.

Once more in the graveyard, Kichiro wandered the lines of stones, still debating what to do with the scroll. The curiosity was killing him, but would the Hokage know if he read it? If its a forbidden scroll, could he realy do that? The village had done alot for him...

Akiko walked quietly into the cemetery. She perched in her usual spot by the monument tilted her head back against it to look up at the sky. She was mumbling softly to herself, her face scrunched up in frustration. Sitting here would calm her down, it always did.

Nero walked along the memorial stones, reading them and thinking about the things that could have brought about there deaths. some names he knew and some he didn't "so many great shinobi have died. so many more will die. what will be the cause.......who knows" he spoke aloud but more to himself.

Akiko sat huddled up next to the memorial. She grabbed absentmindedly at the grass as countless thoughts flooded through her. Things didn't feel normal anymore. The bad feeling she had gotten a few days ago was getting worse.
What's going on...

The wandering man stopped by the memorial stone, crouching before it to run his fingers over afew names, a sad sort of smile making its way onto his face as he relized his name would never join his friends. He brought his hat down as a tear fell from his cheek. Soon he stood back up, wandering away from the stone and through the graveyard.

After returning to the village, Reiki slowly made his way to the cemetery. It was his least favorite place, but he had to come here. He slowly walked through the graveyard and finally came to the memorial stone. He found his family's line and slowly ran his hand across the names. A deep inhale can be heard, and the ninja's eyes closed for a bit, before he straightened his spine and gave the stone a thumbs up.

"I promise I'll be the greatest ninja ever. Even better then gramps." Rei said with a slight chuckle.

The traveler glanced over his shoulder before smiling and whistling. A moment later he dissapeared.

Reiki quickly turned his head as his ears perked up. He quickly scanned the area, but seemed to soften up as he saw no one was there.

A tap at his shoulder came, but the source was just a disembodied laugh. The tap of running came from all sides and shurriken flew out.
Title: Re: Memorial/Cemetery
Post by: Reiki Namikaze on August 05, 2013, 10:40:00 pm
Rei looked behind him, trying to see what tapped him, but saw nothing. He heard running, and quickly stood up. Next thing he knew, shuriken were flying towards him. He quickly pulled out a kunai and deflected most of them, and knocking the others away with a wind jutsu. His whiskers got darker and he let out a low growl.

The laugh continued as more flew out, each pulsing now with lightning.

Reiki saw the lightning shuriken come at him, and quickly flickered out of the way, onto the top of the memorial stone, a kunai in hand.

Three water dragons, began to circle the boy, creating a ring around him as they danced about, one at a time breaking their circle to strike.

Post by: Reiki Namikaze on August 05, 2013, 11:29:57 pm
The first dragon was dodged easily. The other two, were a different story. The second one, he used a rasengan on as it was about to hit him. The third one, clipped his shoulder before he let out a chakra roar, destroying the third and final dragon.

As the final one was struck down, a glowing blue figure came down on the boy with a downward slam of his heel.

Post by: Reiki Namikaze on August 05, 2013, 11:51:54 pm
The heel came in contact with Rei's head, but suddenly turned into a stump. Rei was standing a few feet away, a glowing red aura around him.

The glowing blue creature stopped mid-air with abnormal grace and landed on the stone. Though its face was veiled by its own blue aura, one could sense it was smiling. It twirled a mid-length black blade in hand afew times before charging at the glowing red child with almost unfollowable speed.
Title: Re: Memorial/Cemetery
Post by: Reiki Namikaze on August 06, 2013, 05:23:27 pm
Reiki smiled when he saw the blue figure smile. He knew that smile anywhere. Any. Freaking. Where. His smile grew bigger and bigger. Reiki's own aura started to glow brighter, as he began to charge the blue one.

The figure stopped on a dime, his blade just off Reikis neck. As he stopped, the blue aura kept moving ahead like a gust of wind, revealing the man underneath, a smirk on his face.
"You're getting faster, Reiki."

"Are you interested in a trip to the ramen shop?"
