Zero ran throughout the forest unknowingly tearing through everything in his path. There was a path of utter destruction leading to where he sat. He sat there thinking of his past. He originally thought his special ability as a gift but he was always showed other wise. The people in every village he's been to was scared of him. He never did anything wrong. He never knew the problem. But he found a village that accepted his. Most recently that's even been stripped from him. He's sat in this dark spot not only hiding from the world but also trying to hide from himself.
-
Finding Zero was no challenge at all even though Akiko was several minutes behind him. All she had to do was follow his small trailoof destruction. She approached him slowly trying not to startle him.
Zero? What's the matter?
She walked closer to him, obviously concerned.
-
Her voice snapped him back to reality. He looked out the darkness and stared at her with light purple eyes. Once he looked at her he seen in much more detail. He seen the chakra flowing through her body. Realizing his Rinnegan was activated he quickly blinked and his eyes went normal. He couldn't look at her so he turned his head then spoke.
What do you think of me..?
-
Akiko smiled at Zero and took a few more steps closer.
I think you're wonderful. You're always there for me and Myuki when we need you. You've helped me through a lot of things. You're the best friend a person could ask for, genuinely good. That's so rare.
-
A soft smile crept on his face. With a soft voice he spoke..
...Thanks...
-
She walked next to him and sat down. She smiled at him and put her hand on his shoulder.
You don't need to thank me. Its the truth.
-
He side.
Can i ask you something? It's very random.
-
She nodded.
Of course. You can ask me anything
-
A slight hesitation.
Have you heard about the Rinnegan?
-
She thought for a minute.
Mmmm it sounds familiar but I don't know where I've heard it... Probably in some boring book I skimmed through. I'm not sure.
-
Myuki walked through the forest, holding his sides from where he hit the tree. He quickly used a healing jutsu and followed the trail until he saw the two, keeping quiet, but still in view.
-
Can you?
He caught sight of Myuki and fell silent.
-
Hmm can I what?
She saw him looking at something. She followed his eyes and saw Myuki. She blushed lightly.
Why you just standing there watching us? Creeper.
She smiled at him then at Zero, hoping the mood would be lightened
-
"Great way to thank me. His name is Chūjitsuna hito. I don't know what he wanted, but whatever it was, it wasn't good." He said, not moving from his spot.
-
He didn't know if he should speak on what happened back there and risk them feeling the same way so he just sat there and listened.
-
Akiko frowned at Zero's silence. He seemed uncomfortable.
Maybe we should talk about this later. To Tsukisei or someone."
She rubbed Zero's back to comfort him.
-
That sounds like a good idea..
-
Myuki felt the tension between the three. "I'll just leave you two to whatever you were doing." He said, standing up straight and looking at the two, before flickering away.
-
Myuki don't go!
She frowned as she watched him leave, her eyes watering a bit.
-
You don't have to... Go...
-
She huddled up and hugged her knees.
Let him go then... He's just being a jerk...
-
Hey. You don't mean that..
He stood up slowly and held out his hand to help her up.
Come on. Let's get out of here.
-
She sighed and nodded, taking his hand and getting up
-
Where do you want to go?
He started walking in the opposite direction of the destruction still oblivious to it.
-
She shrugged and hugged her arms.
Anywhere but here.
She spoke softly looking around.
-
Hungry at all?
-
She sighed and shook her head. Whenever she was upset or stressed she lost her appetite, no matter how hungry she might actually be.
-
One thing we should do is find Myuki.
-
The mention of his name mad her frown.
You find him kay? I... Im going to go home...
She smiled at him weakly and hugged him tightly.
-
We'll talk later.
He hugged her back.
Feel better. Ok?
-
She nodded and smiled a little more genuinely before flickering away
-
He also smiled then continued walking.
-
After traveling for what seemed like forever, Nami found a good place to make camp. She dressed herself down to look like any normal village woman.
Guess I'll scout out the village once I get myself settled here. Stupid, pushy, no good lowlife making me come out here...
